 you can find on the internet which exposes you to the strong possibility of being the victim of a scam.


Working from Home....


can seem a great way forward especially now with unemployment horribly high and business funds hard to raise. Despite the plethora of 'work from home scams' around there are good legitimate opportunities out there. If you keep your feet on the ground and bear in mind that on the internet - as in life itself - anything that seems too good to be true usually is just that,Working from Home Articles too good to be true.

The need is to think 'laterally', as De Bono suggests and here are just a few thoughts and suggestions - you might add a few yourself!

Freelance Writing


A Google search for 'freelance writers' comes up with 2.75million hits, so, though not all of these will be looking for people with your skills, knowledge and experience. They may be looking for writers of articles in areas of your expertise, copy for sales materials, or text for web-sites.

It's got to be worth a try!

Tutoring


When we think of private tutoring, we tend to think of Maths, English and the traditional school subjects. Now that's all well and good for qualifies people but not for the rest of us.

But think of all the things we did every day at work that other people struggle with. There are millions of people who can't send an email or shop on-line. There are people who struggle to make out their tax returns, or to write a C-V.

You could tutor on-line.

Ebay and the Like


Over the years you will have built up expertise in either your work or your hobbies. Do you know enough about your topic, where ever it is, to trade in some small way from home? You can buy and sell on the Auction Sites for very little outlay. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of people who have turned a small skill into a worth-while income in this way.

Affiliate Marketing


If you have some very basic IT skills you could try the Affiliate Marketing route, selling other people's products. It would take time to build up a network but there are whole companies earning a living in this way.

Drop Shipping....

 a related online trading model where you never hold stock but place any orders you get on a wholesaler and pocket the margin between your price and the wholesale price, can turn a good profit providing you have the expertise to know what's what in your niche.

It is useful, to say the least, if you have some basic computer skills, but if you held down a job in the past you didn't loose your skills when your employer let you go.

it's got to be worth a go.
