In areas with 3G coverage, access to the Internet is provided courtesy of an HSDPA connection at speeds of up to 10.2 mega bytes per second (along with HSUPA at 2 MB per second). A faster connection can be attained by using local Wi-Fi Networks where available. The handset can be connected both directly and wirelessly to other devices via micro USB and Bluetooth connections. Users can utilise these functions to carry out a number of tasks ranging from transferring media files, to sharing contact information.
A handy five mega pixel digital camera is also included on the handset which operates at a pixel resolution of 2592x 1944 pixels resulting in great quality still images. Fixed focus and an LED flash enhance the quality of photos whilst simultaneously simplifying the task of taking them. Should users wish to shoot video, the camera can record in VGA quality at 15 frames per second.
Symbian OS v9.3 is the operating system of choice which works in conjunction with a 600MHz processor for a superb user experience. To keep users entertained, or there is a versatile media player which supports many different formats of music and video files, as well as access to a library of downloadable games and a stereo FM radio player with RDS. Ovi Maps is an application which operates thanks to GPS with A-GPS support.
