All Dynamics GP VARs, Consulting Partners and ISVs will recommend you to stay current with MBS annual support plan, however this is up to you to decide
2. If you do not have support plan from MBS directly. Especially in the time of recession this problem might be very actual. If you decide to save on extending annual support, this decision means that you will not have reg key for the new versions (or otherwise you will have to pay reenrollment penalty).
