Requirements to Make a fully loaded persistant Kali Linux Live USB Drive:-

  1. A pendrive of minimum 8GB

  2. An application i.e. Rufus(click hereto download)

Step 1:

Inorder to create fully loaded persistant Kali Linux Live USB Drive we need to make a bootable pendrive through an application which is Rufus.

Step 2:

Insert the pendrive in the system and open the Rufus application and select the Kali Linux ISO image by clicking on SELECT option.

 

Step 3:

After selecting the ISO image select the partition scheme as per your system.

Step 4:

After selecting the ISO image and partition scheme, we need to provide persistant partition size, so select the partition size as per your system.

 

Step 5:

Now simply click on the start button and the process starts.

Step 6:

Now the pendrive will be formatted by the application, so make sure to take backup of the pendrive.

 

Step 7:

Now the application will clear the partitions in the pendrive. The application is cleaning the pendrive partitions.

 

Step 8:

After clearing the partitions it will format the pendrive, it will take some time, it depends on the performance of your pendrive.

After that, the system will start copying the ISO files to the pendrive, it will take some time, it depends on the performance of your pendrive.

 

Step 9:

When the process is completed, simply click on CLOSE button.

Step 10:

Now go to the BIOS menu of the computer, we can go to the BIOS by clicking F9 in HP laptops. For other brands, click the official website. After go to the BIOS setting choose the boot device options.
