Procedure For Connecting Exchange Email to Outlook

In order to access the data residing within a mailbox of Exchange server, it is essential to connect it to MS Outlook. Manually Configure Outlook To Connect With Exchange Server

2. In the mail setup dialog box, select Show Profiles.
   
   
3. Click on Add option to add a new profile.
   
   
4. In the New profile box, type the name of the new profile and click OK.
   
   
5. In the Add new account dialog box select option Manually configure server settings or additional server settings.
   
   
6. Now select option Microsoft Exchange or compatible service.
   
   
7. In server settings enter the name of the Exchange Server and the Username of the Exchange server Mailbox. Then click on Next.
   
   
8. Now enter the credentials of your mailbox. Enter the username and password for your Exchange mailbox.
   
   
9. Click Ok. Your profile will get created successfully and you will be able to access all your mailbox items in Outlook.

What To Do If Exchange Mailbox Is Corrupted?

With the help of the above mentioned procedure, you will have no issues in connecting your Exchange email to MS Outlook. But the above procedure fails to fetch your data in case your Exchange EDB file is corrupted. Therefore, in order to view the emails residing in a corrupt Exchange mailbox, you will need to deploy third party tools such as RecoveryTools For Exchange Server. The tool is developed to recover data from corrupt Exchange mailboxes and save them in a healthy PST file. After the conversion is done successfully, the Exchange mailbox data can be accessed in Outlook via PST file.
