Carmen Electra filed for a divorce on 10th August, 2006 which was later finalized on 20th February, 2007. This was confirmed by her representative to the Star Magazine.
Later in the year 2007, Carmen Electra was rumored to have a lesbian relationship with Joan Jett whom she claimed to be her childhood crush. But this fact was denied by the spokeswoman of Carmen Electra saying that they were just friends.
