Mama Bear wasn't too sure, but she was willing to try it out. She sat on the sofa, and pulled out the bed and laid down on it for a while. Finally she told Papa Bear that it would not work. It was too soft and the bed was too large, you could get lost in it if you were not careful. Then Mama Bear noticed how Papa was looking longingly at the king size sofa bed, so Mama gave it a little more consideration.

But then Mama Bear realized that it was too big, it would not fit in their living room. Papa Bear thought that it would, so he asked Goldilocks if he could borrow a tape measure. He confidently measured the king size sofa, pulled out his drawing of the living room, studied it extensively, and finally admitted to Mama Bear that she was right, the king size sofa would not fit.
