Looking for creative ways to consume bee pollen? That's a great idea,How To Use Bee Pollen To Improve Your Health Articles because knowing how to use bee pollen enables you to consume more of it every day so that you can take advantage of all of its health benefits.
Whichever form of you choose, make sure you start with a very small dosage, and then increase dosage gradually. The three main forms that bee pollen come in are granules, capsules, and tablets.
GranulesWhen bee pollen is harvested from bees as they enter the bee hive, it is in the form of granules. This is the best form. You can either eat the granules alone, or mix them with food or a smoothie.
If you eat the granules by themselves, start by taking just a few granules one day, then increase the dosage to your desired amount. One or two tablespoons a day is a good quantity for the average person.
However, if you exercise a lot, you may want to consume up to one or two cups a day. Have a half cup (or quarter cup) before your workout to give your body the energy it needs to work at peak performance. You can also have another half or quarter cup after your workout to help your body recover and maintain a good level of energy.
I personally prefer eating a small handful of granules by themselves, because it's simpler, and the taste is actually quite appealing. But if you want to get creative, you can mix the granules into your food and smoothies.
Sprinkle some granules on top of a salad to give it a mega nutrition boost. Or mix it in with your main course for some added nutrition. Best of all, if you choose to add the pollen to your smoothies, you can use it as a replacement for other sweeteners. It will naturally add a rich sweetness to your smoothie that's healthy for you, too!
CapsulesIf you don't enjoy the taste of bee pollen granules, then capsules may be the best option for you. You can swallow them with water, without tasting anything. I personally don't understand why anyone would want to do that, because I find the taste quite attractive. But if, for some reason, you dislike the taste, taking capsules is a great option for you.
Just like granules, you can take capsules any time: before, during, or after meals. If you're an athlete, you can take the proper amount of capsules before and/or after your workout for increase energy and quicker recovery.
Follow the dosage recommendations on the bottle, and do your research to ensure that measures have been taken in the manufacturing process to ensure optimum quality. Not all bee pollen is equal!
TabletsBee pollen tablets (also called "tabs") are made by compressing the original granules. Sometimes they come in a chewable form, or they may be in a form that you can swallow with water.
As with capsules, you can take tablets before, during, or after meals. And for increased energy, try taking them before and/or after your workout. Follow the recommended dosage on the bottle.
So those are the three forms in which bee pollen is available. I recommend granules, because it's just as simple as taking capsules or tablets, and I personally think it is more effective. Plus, you get to enjoy the rich taste of the bee pollen. But no matter which form you choose, be assured that you are giving your body an amazing health boost.
