They can be an indication that too much exposure to the sun can add to the wrinkles that we are experiencing. That is why it is important that you not only keep yourself healthy but that you also avoid overexposure to the sun, as it can add to your wrinkles.

If you have wrinkles, and all of us will eventually have them, there are some non-surgical skin tightening techniques which may be able to help you. A dermatologist can perform these techniques, including injections of hyaluronic acid which will help to add volume to the skin and reduce the wrinkles that you are experiencing. It is important to note, although you may see differences when you have this type of skin tightening done, it is not going to be a permanent treatment. In most cases, a hyaluronic acid injection is going to last anywhere from six months to a year at which time, you're going to need to have more injections done. You may also need to have some maintenance injections done during that time.

If you are trying to take care of your skin,  there are some things that you can do to reduce the speed with which the wrinkles are appearing. Avoiding excessive exposure to the sun and not smoking are some of the obvious things that you can do. You can also make sure that you are staying hydrated at all times and eating a diet that is high in antioxidants. Although these are all going to have an impact on the appearance of your skin, taking good care of yourself overall is going to be beneficial in many ways.
