The  Yamaha XSR 155 powered by the same 155CC Single Cylinder liquid-cooled motor from the r15 v3. The Yamaha baby 155cc engine produces a maximum horsepower of 14.2 kW at 10000 rpm and Maximum torque of 14.7 Nm at  8500 rpm. such a small capacity engine with a 6-speed gear system, it offers a good balance of low and grunt and top and drives with a good amount of power. and torque as its fair sibling the XSR 155 should be properly fun to ride on the streets. The Yamaha XSR 155 is the perfect example of retro Flair complemented by properly modern engineering.it gets all the modern underpinnings like it's fair sibling while there is. It offers  Upside Down Front Fork (USD)  Suspension and front and Monoshock for the rear. the Yamaha XSR comes with a 10/70-17M/C 54S (Tubeless) tire at the front wheel and  140/70-17M/C 66S (Tubeless) tire in the rear wheels and single disc brake for the front and rear wheels, no ABS offered in the XSR sold abroad. But we expect Yamaha to offer dual-channel abs at launch time in the bike in Indian variant.

The retro segment in India is single-handedly dominated by Royal Enfield sure, Jawa entered the fray but it has not made an impressionable gent yet. What's currently lacking in this space is an old-school-looking motorcycle tempered with Japanese levels of Technology and reliability. the Yamaha 155 could really fill that. plus the smaller capacity engines would offer better fuel efficiency and attract less experienced riders. as well even if Yamaha intends to bring the XSR  of 150 to India. it might not be the exact same bike sold abroad to keep the pricing competitive. It could lose out on the upside-down folk just like the MT 15 and the R-15 V3. It's also possible that Yamaha might even replace the aluminum swingarm with a standard box action unit but given that the XSR 155  this meant for more laid-back riding we don't expect these to be deal-breakers.
