Diatomaceous Earth

Diatomaceous Earth is a very effective natural remedy for controlling pests. You can use diatomaceous earth it for eradicating almost all kinds of household pests like ants, bugs, cockroaches and dust miles, and so on. You can use it on the surface area where these creatures roam. Using food-grade diatomaceous earth will eradicate the pests and this is not harmful to human beings as well.

Soapy water

Soapy water is also very effective as a natural pest control method. You will need a spray bottle, some amount of liquid soap or detergent, and water. Just mix a few drops of liquid soap with water, pour it into the spray bottle and directly spray it on any pest like ants or cockroaches. It will kill them instantly.

DIY Garlic Mosquito Repellent

To create an effective mosquito repellent, you need a few ingredients. The ingredients are garlic juice, water, and a spray bottle. Mix 1 part of garlic spray with 5 parts of water and pour the mixture in a small spray bottle and shake well before using. Spray the mixture on the exposed body parts for an effective repellent that will last up to six hours. You can also dip a cloth into this mixture and hang it in the open areas.

DIY Flypaper

You can make your own flypaper with a simple recipe. You just need to mix ¼ cup of syrup, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and a tablespoon of brown sugar in a small bowl. You need to cut brown stripes of craft paper and soak it in the mixture. Let it dry overnight and hang it with a string.
