Here are a few ways to increase your retention and to increase business loyalty among your associates:

(1)    Offline Training Resources

The internet is great for gathering leads and online sign ups. One mass email can result in thousands of signups! But what happens to those leads after they sign up for information? When people are not trained and do not have good leadership, they promptly drop out of the business. If you really want to keep your team together and keep them strong then you need to give them lots of offline training. This is a constant need. Give your downlines weblinks, access to in-person seminars, connect through leadership training, and call them to talk to them! The more you stay connected, the more likely they are to stay around.

(2)    Leadership Gatherings

Leaders need to gather their business teams together and meet up all the time. If you have downlines across borders, get together for annual conferences. Even if your team connects online primarily, then you need to still meet face to face at least quarterly to network and build relationships. Lives are changed when they actually gather and talk face to face about obstacles and challenges, and problem solve as a whole.

(3)    Social Time

Community building is key for your team to stay strong. It’s a fun and easy way to stay connected and to learn more about each other. Consider activities like ice cream socials, carnivals, playgroups and game days to build camaraderie among each other. Never underestimate the power of fun networking activities!

Make sure that your team connection times are not all about work. Time to relax and play makes them want to be around you and around each other. When all of your gatherings are work-related, you lose the fun and the balance that makes your team a pleasure to be a part of.
