The BMW is also one of the country’s largest Weight for Age races. It is participated by thoroughbreds which race over 2,400 meters. This was first held back in the year 1970 and presently occurs every first Friday of April at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse located in Sydney during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.
