Maintenance of a motorcycle is very important. This is not only for the motorcycle to maintain its good condition or performance but it also reflects the personality of the owner. A well-maintained motorcycle is a testament of how responsible you are a motorcycle owner. In order to get the most out of your motorcycle, you need to keep it in good condition all the time.

Wash your motorcycle.

This must be done by you, most of the time commercial washing use hoses with high pressure. This can damage the body of your motorcycle. Remember that motorcycles are more vulnerable than a car therefore you have to make sure it is handled correctly. And in washing your bike, find shady place because the heat from the sun can harm paint, and allow water to leave a spot in the of the motorcycle.

Regular Motorcycle Check-up

 Check your motorcycle tires regularly. See the rims for dents or cracks. Once your tires are faded, replace it immediately because it will affect the performance of the bike and may put you in harm.

Check your tire treads at least once a week.  Check any sign of cut and scrapes on the tires because this can cause a blowout. These blowouts are results of low air pressure therefore it is important to put the exact amount of air pressure on the tires. Check also the controls of your bike. Look for kinks or broken strands in your cable then put the lubricants if needed.

In maintaining your motorcycle, you must know how to change your oil, then check and lubricate your motorcycle. Not changing the oil will cause further damage to the engine. One thing can help you also motorcycle maintenance is using the owner’s manual.
