A Logo visually describes corporate identity of an organization,Philosophy of Colors in a Logo Design Articles product and services. Its journey to existence revolves around certain essential factors which determine its effectiveness. Colors that brush up a logo design is one those essential features. There is a deep and highly evolved philosophy of colors that has a strong bonding with the message that a logo has to deliver on behalf of the organization.

Beauty of the world and its appealing factor is due to the presence of various colors in this universe. Such is the fate of colors in your logo design that they not only make your brand appealing but also desirable for your customers. Colors have the power to transform the moods of individuals. They have certain reactions associated with them. Every color carries its own individualistic frequency that helps to change the mindset of its receiver after striking them.

The first thing that catches the attention of the viewer in a logo design is its color and serves as the decisive factor for like or dislike of the design. Your logo having the images or symbols that correctly depict the vision of your organization but is filled in with the colors that don’t go with the taste or age of your target customer will surely lose its impact.

Choosing the right color for a logo design is a cumbersome task. There are numerous colors that will appear to be the right choice but picking up the best one requires some factors to be kept in mind. Combination of different colors should be in harmony with each other. None of them should be this much overpowering that I will beat the existence of other colors.

Age of the Target Customer:  Individualsof different age groups have different taste for colors that appeal them or refresh them. Color usage in a logo design for a product to be used by individuals of particular age should keep this factor in mind.

Font size and Style: When a logo design contains some description or it’s a design that only has a word or alphabet in it then colors should be filled with such an art that they don’t make it ambiguous or difficult to read.

Nature of The product/Organization: The area that your product or organization caters to has enormous effects on the color pallet of your logo design. If you want to present a decent image of your organization, the use of shocking or striking colors will ruin it for sure.

Don’t Stretch the Boundaries too far: Theflow of newer ideas and concepts is a sound idea to pitch rightly into the market but still there are certain mandatory colors combination that need to keep at their original place over the years and a change in it will only create hurdles in its recognition by the clients. For example if some one uses elephant in a logo design and colors it red. It cannot be termed as something which is different but is a foolish idea to go with it since it will take a long period at the end of customer to get use to it if incase they

choose to.

The use of right color in your logo design will only attract your customers but will also help them in reacting towards it in a certain way such as we react specifically to red or green light during our journey in a vehicle. The philosophy of color has its rich history and holds a definite and composite chemistry with the emotions and reactions of individuals.
