Differentiate Traditional Batik and Stamp Batik Clothes

The batik clothing is very popular in everything as one of world’s heritage and this statement has been mentioned by UNESCO. The batik is widely used as the part of world fashion. Several famous designers have involved batik motifs in their international design. Batik clothing is mostly from Indonesia. Batik is basically divided into 2  types. The first is the conventional batik, which is made using canting, and the second is the Batik Cap or stamp batik, that is made using copper stamp. Traditional Javanese batik is made using traditional devices and also dyes. Traditional people use several tools to create traditional batik such as canting, wajan, wax, and dyes. Canting is a tool similar to a tiny teapot. The canting is used to write the batik motifs on a piece of fabric. The fabric used in the batik making is around 2m x1m in size. The batik makers dip the canting into the melted wax. The wax is melted in a place known as wajan. Wajan is the common frying pan but to create batik, steel wajan is used. The wax in the wajan has been mixed with natural dyes to get the colors that needed in the batik making process.  The batik makers carefully sketch the batik motif on the white cloth. The batik making procedure, need long time to complete because the batik painter need more patience to draw the most beautiful batik motifs. After the batik has been painted, it requirements to be dyed to create the color perfect. The dye needs a couple of days to finish. After the dying process has finished, the batik is dried under shades. Another procedure of making batik is by using copper stamp. The copper stamp is used because the demand of batik clothing is raising high and if the batik is made using traditional canting, it takes a lot of time to complete. The copper stamp is made to create the process of making batik faster. The batik maker only needs to dip the stamp into the wax and then apply it to the cloth. The stamp will help drawing the motif faster and efficient. The batik is widely traded among people in Indonesia. You can also get batik from various online batik stores on the internet. You are able to buy batik in the form of painted cloth or batik t-shirt. The batik t-shirts are very fashionable because batik can be used also to make pakaian batik and batik bags.
