When choosing tradeshow giveaway items, you may start to think of your last tradeshow and the items that you have seen other companies give out. For those people that go after the table goodies you need some good stuff.

Although, there is nothing wrong with drawing off your personal experiences from the past, this is not always a sure fire way to get the best trade show giveaway items.

For those people that go after the table goodies you need some good stuff. Some folks are really into edibles or drinkable items at these things. You can label water bottles. If a lot of people are doing the same thing though it loses it's impressiveness. Promotional candy can pull people to your table if they need a snack, but if they eat it right away then the advertising on the wrapper is lost.

Some things get overdone at these things bad. Pens are something that every single table will have. Unless you have a gimmick pen you will just be one of the crowd. They do make some funky pens. I have seen ones with games on them

, laser pointers are on some too. You can even find pens that will record short voice messages.

I still like the idea of providing sustenance to people. If you can manage this and give them something to take home that is a good idea. A sports bottle can be used this way. There are some very attractive bottles that can be imprinted with information and images. You could have drinks to put in these. Or have them pre-filled with different stuff and stuck on ice. People get an icy refreshing beverage and they will keep the nice reusable bottle.

If you want to get some new contacts then you might want to get a table at an industry event in your area. These are good spots to meet new people in related fields because they are geared toward specific things. You won't find a car dealership at a fantasy watercraft convention. You will find businesses and people that are interested in goals similar to yours. With some good promo items to pull people in you will do good.
