Comparing Promotional Pens

If you have ever tried to use promotional products in the past to help you increase brand awareness, boost product recognition or to help spread the presence or purpose of a group or organization, you know that it is a strategy that works.

There are different ways to advertise, some involve newspapers, magazines, radio spots, television commercials and running new product specials. All of these are tried and true methods, but when using promotional products is the game plan, be prepared to sort through hundreds of different options- all of which claim to be the best seller. Each item does have its merits, but when compared to the marketing of the promotional pen, they have a difficult time measuring up.

The promotional pen is a tough competitor in the advertising industry of promotional items. They have been around for years and are still highly valued as an esteemed give away product that is welcomed by everyone. There are so many various promotional items to choose from, so just what makes going with the pen such a good choice? Reading further will clarify their advantages over particular competitors.

Promotional pens versus Drink Mugs- Why would one choose to order promotional pens when there are perfectly good coffee mugs to be had? Coffee mugs make a nice gift, however, if one is going to try and stay within a certain budget, pens are much more cost friendly that the mugs. Not only are they a less expensive option, but they ship easier, cheaper and do not have the added worry of breakage.

Pens versus Tee Shirts- Tee shirts are a more modern type of give away compared to the promotional pen. With the advent of conversational tee shirts beginning in the 1960’s, they definitely held and still do hold a place in the world of advertising. They are not heavy for shipping so that is a plus on their side. The two most glaring differences between the two are cost and reusability. Tee shirts are going to be a much more expensive item to order, e specially if in large quantities. The number of promotional pens that can be ordered for the same amount of money that is to be spent on tee shirts is unbelievably much higher. That is much better value for the money. Also, tee shirts may be worn one time and maybe never see the light of day again. Not so with the promotional pen. It is used over and over and is often passed on to others to again spread the message. Again- more value for the money. Pens versus Key Chains- When comparing promotional pens and key chains, it is fairly easy to see why there is a popularity difference that falls heavily on the side of pens. The main reason is high visibility. A key chain does serve a good purpose, but the chances of them actually being used to replace existing ones is not high. That leaves t hem going into drawers or at the bottom of a purse. A pen is gong to get used because it is something that is necessary in the day to day process of living. People are always writing something and having a pen handy, particularly a promotional pen, is sure to save the day. Wouldn’t you rather have your promotional message on something that is going to be used like a pen instead of a trinket that will end up being stored in a box somewhere? Comparatively speakingScience Articles, choosing a promotional pen makes sense!
