So the actual cutting is done by the diamond crystals and produces a very fine finish. Diamond polishing pads can be both wet and dry. While the dry pads produce lot of dust, they’re easier to handle and are generally preferred over small jobs and where wet polishing is not desired. The wet pads do not create dust but does create watery slurry and it needs wet polisher and additional attachments.
