Miami, Florida. Dynacolor Graphics, Inc. adopts sound environmentally friendly practices to help our environment, including recent “Certifications” by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) SGS-COC-004546 and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) NCS-SFICOC-138, the best-known forest certification programs.

Forest certification programs are dedicated to stopping the damage to our world’s forests. Both FSC and SFI have an established “chain-of-custody” program, from tree cutting to the finished printed piece that promotes responsible management of the forests. These two entities are the most internationally recognized and accepted programs for forest protection.

Dynacolor had to submit to an extensive, thorough review of its processes, facility and procedures. The process took many months to complete. “We are very proud of our Company’s efforts to help preserve our environment”, said Donald Duncanson, President. “We have always been a leader in environmental practices. With these certifications, we are able to offer to our customers, papers that are certified from environmentally conscious mills.”

Over the years, Dynacolor Graphics has adopted many eco-friendly practices that saves energy, water, raw materials and reduces air pollution: fully digital pre-press including computer-to-plate system eliminating all film; alcohol-free printing; recycling of coating containers, plates, toner cartridges, aluminum cans and paper waste.

“With paper certifications from FSC and SFI in addition to our other long established practices, we will be able to make a larger contribution to help preserve and protect our environment and continue to print high quality products for our customers” stated Duncanson.
