When you open a commercial printing company,Promote Your Printing Company At Less Cost Articles do not neglect the promotions aspect so that people will know that you are in business. They also need to know what you can do – what products and services you offer.

One commercial printer could be different from the other and so people should need to know what sets you apart. There are many ways that you can promote your company. Some can be free while others will require minimal costs. At least, you will not spend so much in terms of advertising placements in newspapers, TV, radio, and internet websites. Here are some ways that you can promote your new company without spending too much.

1. Press Releases - In most cases, press releases are free of charge. You can send an announcement to the local paper, radio station, or TV station and they can just publish it or announce it without a fee, although you may have to give them some complimentary stuff. The downside is that the media outlets have the discretion not to publish or air your press release. After all, it is not paid. Like for the newspaper, they can publish it to fill up a space. If they do not have enough space, they can kill your release without telling you.

2. Collective Print Ads - You can solicit for advertising from your suppliers, such as the company that sold you the printing equipment, the supplier for your paper stock, or the agency that supplied manpower for blue-collar positions. They can place a greeting ad in the local paper, congratulating you for the opening of your new company. You can actually do the layout. You can get a commitment from them for the size of the ad, like a full page, then you can do the layout containing their message as well your company’s name, services, and contact details. Do the same for the rest of your suppliers. After publication, the paper can bill them directly or you will be the one to send the billing to them. They will be happy to do this for you because of the business that you gave them.

3. Announcement - It would be nice to place a one full page in the paper. After all, it is your opening day and it is a one-time expense. You have already invested so much in your printing setup and a one full page would seem like a small expense. If it costs too much money, a half page would still be good but may have lesser impact. Just do not go lower than a half page. If you are going to place a full-page ad in the paper along with the greeting ads from your suppliers, that would create a big impact in the community. Many companies and individuals will learn about your company and your services.

4. Insert in Publications - You may also want to have fliers printed by your own commercial printer. They could be the size of a 1/3 of a bond paper. Use good quality paper and then full color printing so that people will see your work. Make sure that the printing quality is good after all that will speak about what you can do as a printing company. If your fliers are ugly, then people will not go to you because you could not even make your own fliers nicer.
