If you make it fun for people then they will get into it. You could give discounts or start a club sort of feeling. What if everyone that wears your seasonal shirt gets their second beer free. If you do it one night a week then people will do it regularly. All of a sudden you will have a busy night where before you were too slow to keep good servers working. Any car that goes through that line with their tag or sticker on it gets a 15% discount and a smile.
