Escaping the Rat Race is an article about what the Rat Race is and how I personally was able to escape it. The steps I took to ensure financial freedom and independence from corporations.
One of my favorite topics to write about comes from one of
my favorite authors, Robert Kiyosaki. Robert Kiyosaki is the award winning
author of Rich Dad: Poor Dad. I am not going to talk about that book here, but
what I am going to talk about are some of the principles he talks about in his
book and how different fields of work besides real estate can apply to his
teachings. One of the main topics he likes to discuss is wealth building and
how freeing you from a corporate job is the ultimate goal. Most people when
they think about planning for a future they always talk about saving money and
then retiring and not working. The goal at the end of the day is always to not
work. We should view the goal as how to be able to work as much as you want,
have enough money, and have freedom. I have taken all the principles that he
has taught in his books and I have become and online entrepreneur. The first step in my process of escaping the
rat race was to discover the world of online survey taking and market research.
This was my first step. I used to take online surveys every single day while I
was at my corporate job, I would also test products out and I started to see
real results. I used to love to do this because I felt that I was double dipping
by getting paid hourly and at the same time I was filling out paid surveys
online. I started to become an expert at these and I signed up for many survey
communities, enough that I had an exclusive email just for survey taking. This money making stream then turned me on to
work at home opportunities. I was very wary of these as I know that there were
a ton of MLM and scams out there. I did my proper research and I signed up for
a few. Jerky direct was one of my first successful business’ and then I worked
with SMC and after I learned from them, started to branch out on my own and do
my own business. I now operate an online business that works for me even when I
am not doing anything. This business gives me the opportunity to pursue my true
passions in life, one of them being writing and helping other people achieve
the same happiness that I have been able to achieve. I am not happy because I
am rich or drive a Lamborghini, I live a normal lifestyle as any other American
does, but I never really have to work again. I enjoy monitoring my online
business, however they all work whether I am monitoring them or not. This is
truly escaping the rat race. I could have never imagined that I would be the
one writing these kinds of articles as I used to be the one reading them. If
