If you can’t decide on what shoes or foot gear to wear for what ever occasion you’re going to wear them at then you better take a few more minutes deciding on what image you want yourself to be portrayed as. It has been said many times that what you wear shows the kind of person you are and what kind of personality you have. Different styles of foot wear has its own personality.

Let’s start of with talking about shoes. Within shoes itself there are two types of style, the heel shoe and the flat shoe. We may have all seen the traditional 2cm heel on a shoe. Usually these types of shoes are worn in a formal occasion such as on a wedding day when you may wear formal shoes with a suit. This type of shoes shows that you a smart person that likes to look good at a good occasion. You would only wear these heeled shoes with a suit at a formal occasion. If you wore these shoes anywhere else it really wouldn’t make sense and they would stick out like a soar thumb with you really looking very un cool.

How ever these days you can get smart shoes with a heel and these come in a range of different colours such as dark brown, light brown, white, red and green. You can wear these style of casual shoes like we like to call them on a day where you would wear casual shirt and jeans. You will be telling people that you want to dress up and you are but you also want to look cool and enjoy what you wear.

Then comes the flat soul shoes where they don’t have a heel but have a rubber grip at the bottom. These are great because they look good and they look smart and you can wear these on a casual dress down day or if you’re wearing a suit you can wear these as well. I can safely say that I would prefer these sort of shoes if I was going to spend a whole day wearing my formal clothes because they are just so comfy that you would wear these shoes on any other day that you would wear trainers.

I have seen many people wearing their casual shoes with a jeans and the funny t shirts out on a weekend and I too follow that trend because when someone wears them three items together it shows that they are cool, trendy, fashionable and it doesn’t cost a lot to look that way.

A pair of casual shoes you can pick up for 22 dollars/pounds, then the quality faded blue jeans for 19 dollars/pounds and the t shirt for a few pounds or dollars at the local supermarket. And not forgetting the socks, you don’t want something bright nor plain so go with a pair of black socks that you can wear any other day with anything else. When you shop make sure you don’t shop by an outfit, because you don’t know if you will have that pair of jeans for long. If you shop by pieces of clothing then you are not limiting what you can buy and can be quite creative in what you buy and wear.
