How to Save a Relationship-3 Things to Keep in Mind.

There are a couple of things we need to keep in mind before we begin
to answer the question how to save a relationship.

One: You must decide if you think the relationship is worth saving. You probably have a lot of time invested into the relationship physically, mentally and emotionally. Take some time and write down on a piece of paper all the good things about the relationship and then write down all the bad things.

If the list of good things is longer than the list of bad things then you know the relationship is worth saving if not then you may want to think about cutting your losses and move on with your life. Let's say in your case the good list is longer. Now See if you can get your partner to do the same. If he or she agrees there is a good chance you can save the relationship. Now that you both have made your list what's next?

Two: Now make a list of the changes you're willing to make to save the
relationship. What compromises are you prepared to make. Once again have
your partner do the same. Then sit down together and calmly and rationally
compare notes. Then the two of you must agree to be open and honest about
feelings with each other your likes and dislikes. This will go along way
in strengthening your bond.

Three: There is one more important thing to cover here, it's probably the most important of all. Keep other people of out your business and decision making. This includes family and friends, everyone has good intentions and want to advise you about your relationships, but you know what they say about good intentions...With the exception of an expert on relationships it's probably best that you and your partner decide these things for yourselves.
