You may be very good at picking up on the hidden messages in what people are saying or reading between the lines. When you have strong, seemingly baseless, feelings about something like this it is known as intuition. Like any other aspect of human nature it is possible to develop and improve this ability. And it is an ability that is very worth developing as it can help you experience interpersonal interactions on a whole new level.

Intuition can help you to become more in touch with the world around you. It will help you understand the people who are close to you and the people that you meet in your everyday life. People will often try to hide their true feelings and emotions for many reasons. If you pick up on someone’s true state of mind or the hidden message in what they are saying it will be good for your communication with that person.When you interact with people around you on an intuitive level your communication with them is enhanced, because you will be understanding aspects of them that you can only experience through intuitive awareness.

Developing your intuition can be done in a number of ways. A major one is to focus on the ability and when it seems to be working for you. Take note of the occasions when you experience an intuitive moment and be as aware of the experience as possible. Don’t take these moments for granted. Instead think about what your intuition told you that otherwise you would not have known. So to develop your intuitive abilities pay close attention everything that is going on and be aware of when you are using your skill. The more information you gather from what is going on the more messages you will be able to pick up on.

 Intuition works at a subconscious level but engaging your conscious mind to pick up on all the signals that feed into the intuitive processes will feed into it. At the same time you must not over analyse what is going on. This can be a difficult balance. You are trying to be open to everything, but it is your inner self that will be interpreting it. It is more about connecting with feelings and emotions than an intellectual deductive process. The important thing is to take notice of the feelings that come to you and learn to act upon them. Once you have learned to trust your intuition, if something feels like the right thing to do then it probably is.
