Medium People

A medium is a person who is able to communicate with spirits and those who have passed on into the spirit realm. Each individual reader will use a different way of communicating with the inhabitants of this realm. Some use clairvoyance, meaning they may be able to see spirits; others may use clairaudience, or hear spirits. Occasionally, a medium will sense the presence of a spirit and is able to determine who is present by a color associated with the feeling, or perhaps the smell of a specific pipe tobacco or perfume, for instance.

In either case, they become the channel through which those who have passed away an convey emotions, feelings and sometimes very clear, specific messages to their living relatives or friends, or answer questions that are posed to them. What can be revealed during a session with a medium can often take people by surprise.

The important thing to remember is to ask specific questions. It is difficult to answer a vague question, or simply tap about in the dark trying to find an answer to an unasked question. In essence, while the medium is connecting to the spirit world, those seeking answers need to continually focus on the question they wish to have answered.

As it stands, many individuals consulting a medium simply wish to find out if their loved ones are safe and happy. Some may need to say goodbye to someone they have lost in order to find closure. Others may seek the advice of a particular person they knew they could rely on for solid advice when they were alive. These questions may be about relationships, work, financial decisions, love, or whatever.

Occasionally, a person will ask about something that was lost, such as an item of jewelry, a key or even a will. There are times when spirits are contacted to find a missing relative or friend, and it has been known for contact with spirits to assist in solving crimes. Sometimes people simply hope to find out more about their ancestors. Essentially, anything imaginable can be revealed through a reading.

Although it is important to be specific when asking about something, answers may not always be as specific in return. On occasion, spirits may even decide to mention something they were not asked about. This may be a useful hint where to find something the enquirer did not know about, or a warning of some impending problem or accident.

Readings can take place face to face, over the phone or via the Internet. Skeptics may question this, but spirits have no boundaries and do not need the medium to be in the same room as the enquirer to convey messages effectively.
