The First Missed Opportunity

My first venture was owning and franchising my own fitness centers. I developed a unique approach to weight loss and loved every moment of it. However, societal expectations of success led me to abandon this path. I was told that success looked a certain way, and owning fitness centers didn't fit that mold.

The Corporate Detour

I then spent five years working for Corporate America. The pay was good, the perks were great, and I was optimistic. But I wasn't happy. I didn't understand what happiness in my career meant because societal norms had shaped my perception of success.

The Mail Order Business

While working in the corporate world, I started a mail order business. I began receiving checks for something I loved doing and was good at. It was an exhilarating feeling. However, the corporate world changed, and I felt compelled to join another corporation. The pay was better, the perks were more enticing, but happiness still eluded me. For the second time, I gave up what I loved because I believed success and financial security were supposed to look a certain way.

The Turning Point

Then came the breaking point. I knew there was more to life, but I didn't know what it was. I stopped reading business and marketing materials, which I used to love. Instead, I decided to find out how things really work, not how we're taught they work.

The Third Attempt

On my third attempt, I started working entirely for myself. I now run a profitable e-media business that is both fun and lucrative. The momentum is increasing daily.

The Moral of the Story

The moral of this story is to ignore societal expectations and what you've been taught. Aim high, and watch your life transform.
