Traditionally,Mythical Tarot Deck Articles a tarot card reading can reveal many things depending on the questions asked during the actual reading. One of the most important things to keep in mind is that you need to prepare. Before you actually go for the reading, get ready for it. Nothing complicated, just get a piece of paper and a pen, sit down and really think about what you want to take away from the reading. Then write the questions down. Ask the questions that really matter to you. Be open to the answers, even if they aren’t what you want them to be. That’s the key.

The question needs to be quite clear in a tarot card reading. Asking ambiguous questions will give rise to ambiguous answers. The interpretation of these answers can then be done in various ways. Ask a very clear, concise, well worded and thought out question. The usual topics that are questioned are career, love, money and health. One thing to keep in mind though, if you do not want to know something do not ask about it!!! Also remember that questions that require a yes or no answer don’t usually work so well.

A tarot card reading works best if you follow some basic guidelines. Please understand that guidelines are meant to help guide you. They aren’t precise rules and regulations. There’s nothing to stop you from not heeding them and still getting the result you want. However, the chances greatly increase when you do heed them as with any other set of guidelines.

Don’t make your mind up about the answer and then expect to be guided. You’ve already closed yourself off to any chance of being guided. A tarot card reading needs you to be open to all the guidance it can offer.

A question doesn’t need to be too detailed. In fact, ask a question that takes in all aspects of the issue. Focused questions are good but detailed questions lead to a loss of clarity. It sounds paradoxical but it’s very true. Think of it this way, if you concentrate on a detail of a painting, you lose out on the beauty of it as a whole. A tarot card reading’s very similar.

If there’s someone else that the answer is going to involve, frame the question so that you are the focus and not them.

Don’t ask a question that already has emotional overtones attached to it. Anything less than a neutral point of view in your question will render it useless.

Don’t ask a negative question. Frame it in a positive manner and that’ll help get you on the right path. Remember, a tarot card reading will always show you the positive if asked positively.

At the end of it all, the question to ask is the one you really need answering.
