Spell Cast

The term spell reading is slightly misleading as it is more a spell casting than a reading. Although witches use spell casting as a form of divination too.

The term spell reading is slightly misleading as it is more a spell casting than a reading. Although witches use spell casting as a form of divination in their work and use psychic abilities in using these spells, I personally have never used them. However I have read a great deal about them with interest.

Spell reading maybe compare it to what may have been known as active keening or using ones magical knowledge to seek answers for the querant. Whatever you call it, it amounts to the same thing. You, as the spell reader, are using you psychic abilities to ascertain an answer from the universe for the person who is asking the question. This type of reading is obtained from a person who is a witch.  Do not confuse a Wiccan with a witch. While it is possible for a person who practises Wicca to be a witch as well it is not necessary for a witch to be a Wiccan. Either of them however could be psychic. Wicca is a religion which is based on the olden day traditions of Ireland, Wales and Scotland. The origins or the religion are rather clouded with many people stating one thing and many another. Whatever the origins today Wicca is used to bring forth the earthly connections to life earth sky and nature generally to give a psychic reading using Cards, Runes, Pendulums or other means to connect to answer queries asked of the psychic. There are several decks of cards made by Wicca people to help concentrate the energies to bring forth the answers required. Witches on the other hand use spells to cast a reading for you. Casting of a spell in my mind, and I could be completely wrong so take it with a pinch of salt, means they are using the means of a spell to make a particular event happen.

This means they are dictating the outcome of an event rather that seeing what the universe has decided will happen. Love spells appear to be in great demand as many witches are advertising they can do this kind of spell casting. The entire gamut of readings appears to fall in this region from Tarot to root work. I think although I am not 100% sure that root work is similar to voodoo or witch doctors mixing up of various herbs and making potions for the person requesting the  help to either drink themselves or arrange for the person, on whom the spell is being cast, to drink. To my mind this does not actually fall into the category of a psychic.

I know this sounds very complicated but in simple terms a witch casts spells and needs to use deviation tools or psychic ability or both to give a reading.
