The popularity of the little black dress came through certain stages of depression. This type of dress was previously worn by the Hollywood celebrities in the movie and in their parties. When 1980 came people were busy in making money and so it forced then to wear more black dress so that they can maintain a professional look. During that time the dress designers used to design the little black dress with broad shoulder and peplum. When 1990 came that time was considered to the era of simplicity.
