Overview

The future generation Mercury Milan is not significantly changed for 2011. It is a medium sized sedan that shares its standard design with the premium-midsize Lincoln MKZ and Ford Fusion. This vehicle will be introduced by the end of this year.

Engine Specs

2011 Mercury Milangets its new engine from the compact sport utility vehicle of Mercury. The V6 Premier version comes with all-wheel drive system. The Base trim level is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. All Premiers come standard with a 6-speed automatic transmission that is optional on Base. All models are offered with a gas/electric Milan Hybrid. This hybrid system includes a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor for delivering 191 horsepower. No plug-in charge is required for this hybrid system. This hybrid system is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that functions like an automatic transmission.

Optional Equipments

The optional features in the vehicle include traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, curtain-side airbags, and an ABS. Moreover, the vehicle has a Ford's Sync voice-activated interface for MP3 players or cell phones and a navigation system. Remote engine start and blind-sport alert systems are optional.
