Another dashboard light is the battery warning light. This light indicates the requirement of immediate attention. In this situation, the alternator is not producing electricity, and your battery may not have enough power in it to keep your car running for several miles on its own.

If the battery warning light cuts on while you are driving, the most frequent tip is to turn off as many electrical functions within your car as possible (radio, phone chargers/computer, air conditioning), and pull off of the road. If this light cuts on when you start your car and it doesn’t turn off then you should drive straight to your nearest reputable garage for the cleaning, restoration, or replacement auto repair that is recommended to get you back on the road as quickly and as safely as possible.
