Many times the car you hire as a service gives you unexpected pain in your pocket. The reason is that we as customer relay too much on the service providers and forget that they are economical operational units, ie they work for money.

There are so many paid services coming up these days that very soon there will be services for back chafing as well: “haute chafe services in $50 only” lol. But increasing facility does not always smoothen the working or makes them easy as they promise to, in fact the increase responsibility at consumer's part. There are two reasons for it: firstly, money is the motivating factor behind such services, and not serving attitude, secondly: since services direct appeal to our abstract senses, consumer runs at a greater risk of disappointment. Imagine chafe service abrading and mauling your skin instead of caressing it, on the name of some treatment, certainly it would be painful and wastage of money. Car hiring can seem an easy task, look for car rental agencies on internet, send them your queries, estimate price, choose among the fleet of cars, get a transactional receipt and tada…done. Wish it could have been so easy. As everything that glitters is not gold, every offer made by car rental is not free.

There is a lot of hidden stuff, which appears on the bill. Similarly car rental services may offer discounts, deals, provisions and variety of cars at cheap affordable prices, but only these services do not ensure safety and value. Hence customers should follow a Guru Mantra of scrutinizing and analyzing for every services being offered. Thanks to some extravagant customers, who pay for bad services without showing any respect for their money, agencies in return makes it a custom to charge unreasonable high prices.

What is worse is that these agencies avoid asking for money directly, rather they artfully mechanize over the bills. Many of us have founder in such traps. Travelers are made to pay for insurance while the agencies are lawfully liable for the payment. It should always be kept in mind that, care rental agencies are largely driven out of monetary avarice. They will always try to charge maximum out of their vehicle. It is advisable to clear out misunderstandings, and to openly ask about hidden cost.

As I said, they avoid direct money but include it in various things craftily, one should always know the laws and amendments regarding car hire. Some ardent travelers who travel frequently and are familiar of wicked tricks prefer clicking photographs of vehicles prior to hire, this avoids any blame for a pre-existing scratch or smudge. These agencies accuse travelers of damaging vehicle and make them pay in restitution. There are several other ways they play smart, but a bit of knowledge and will power at the part of traveler can get value for money.
