If you live anywhere other than the smallest village,Finding The Right Jeep Dealer - Three Important Factors Articles you probably have your share of car lots begging for your business. While it's nice to have freedom of choice, how can you possibly decide which jeep dealer is right for you? To make a decision, you have to know the differences between a good dealership and a bad one. And there are some significant differences, agreed upon by most car shoppers. It can be difficult to determine those differences at a distance, but here are three important factors that should go into your decision:

Check the Better Business Bureau

It's not especially important that a jeep dealer belong to the Better Business Bureau. This is a private membership that any company can pay to belong to. It looks nice to have that badge, but it doesn't really offer any assurances of quality. The BBB site itself, however, can be an effective research tool when deciding where to take your business. Customers know the name, and it is often their first stop when they have a complaint. Take a look through their database and see if there are many complaints against the car lot. See how the car lot resolved these complaints, if they did at all. This can help tremendously when making your decision.

Reviews

If a jeep dealer has been around for a decent length of time, it shouldn't be hard to find some reviews. If you look online for these reviews, keep in mind that people are much more likely to rant about a bad experience than they are to rave about a good or moderate one. People feel entitled for the most part, and they see excellent service as something that should be taken for granted. Therefore, they see no reason to fire up a review unless something exceptional has occurred. More often than not, this exceptionality is something negative. Still, reviews can be informative if you keep this in mind.

Add-Ons

Know what you're getting out of a jeep dealer. It's one thing to know you'll get a fair shake when it comes to buying your vehicle. But what about the other stuff? Do you think you'll come back to the dealership for repairs and maintenance? If so, make sure you understand what they offer. You'll also want to look into warranties, car services, and other add-ons that can make a difference. While you're not going to buy an overpriced vehicle just because they throw in a free monthly car wash, it's still worth investigating.
