Individuals who currently work in the truck driving/transportation industry in Florida recently received a blow to their profession after it was listed as the top deadliest profession in the state.

Reports stemming from a Florida Trend news article have determined that truck drivers in the state currently work in the deadliest profession across the state,Florida Truck Drivers Have Most Dangerous Job in State Articles according to statistics recently released for 2006 and 2007.

The article also reported that "transportation incidents killed 136 Florida workers in 2007" and this figure does not include the number of fatalities that may have occurred as a result of these employment fatalities, which may include the fatalities of others involved in a truck accident.
