Great Evening Ideas

As the summer days grow shorter, we usually find that it is the perfect opportunity to create fun evenings outdoors.If there is an Android 2 din Car Stereo in your car,it will make you funny.

Our kids love the idea of staying up past dark, but typically can’t very often in the summer, as it is so far past their bedtime. Plus, lightsabers look better in the dark and are better wielded outdoors, which makes it even more of a treat for our family.

One of our favourite outdoor nighttime activities is to rent a projector, throw a white sheet up on the fence or house, and watch a movie from sleeping bags in the lawn. It’s super fun and there are so many little things you can add to the evening to make it a hit.

Another idea we love is to make our truck into its own self-contained, portable movie theatre. We start by putting a foam mattress, blankets and pillows in the back of the truck. This can easily be done in an SUV or even a car if your seats fully fold down.

Then create a little side bar with a mini cooler or something to pack all of your movie theatre snacks and drinks into.

The movie theatre on wheels is all about location, location, location. Have fun choosing a spot to park for the movie. The tall one likes to off road and freak me out, so we have used a four-by-four to climb obnoxiously steep hills and park at the top.

That is an especially cool option when you can overlook a city at night with all its twinkly lights.

To watch a movie, we either use a laptop with a larger screen or bring a small flat screen T.V., and use Car DVD players to play the movie.Along a beach or river would also make a really great spot for your movie date. If you’re super fortunate like us, you’ll look up to see fireflies dancing all around your vehicle.
