Have you ever thought of how much it would cost to have an armored car like 007. Just in case you have never heard of 007, he is the ultimate secret spy with the coolest cars and gadgets in the world all designed specifically for his super secret missions.

This will give you the ability to get you out of the danger zone to safety.

These options are a great addition to your armored car but the most important feature is having the vehicle armored to protect everyone inside. This requires a team of skilled workers to completely strip down the car to the frame. At this point depending on how much protection you need will determine the material used to armor the vehicle. You can protect the floor area from IED's and grenades. Your doors will be protected with pure steel or composite material while the windows will be made made by layering glass, a strong plastic like polycarbonate and glass laminate together to create hurricane glass. The same kind of lamination process creates bullet proof glass.

Some of this glass can be as much as three inches thick depending if you need to stop armor piercing rounds such as 762 X51 or .30 caliber. This is where the skilled workers come in to play having to redesign the doors interior to accommodate these thick heavy windows while still retaining the look of a regular stock looking car on the outside to the everyday onlooker. This level of protection will require a brake and suspension upgrade to handle the extra weight as well.

All this work will have to be completed by true professionals in the industry that will install the ballistic material correctly and to make sure the fit and finish is of a brand new car from the factory.
