Recently, there are many customers told us that the weather app can't be work in their Android Car DVD Player. We have confirmed with our techs that about the weather app, since we use the Yahoo's weather database, now there is something wrong with their weather database, so the weather app can't be used now. Could you please use the third party weather APPs? But the third party weather APPs can't be shown on the home screen of the Android Car DVD Player, hope you can understand it.
If you want to remove our weather app from the home screen of your Android Car DVD, please upgrade it with this software.
We would like to provide you the detailed Instructions step by step, hope you will make it work on your Android Car DVD soon:
Firstly please write down the system information and all the data of the factory settings of your unit. (password is 126 / 1688)
It is very important to record these data before upgrade. You can take some photos to save the factory settings first.
1). Please extract it and copy "update.img" file to a blank & formatted SD card.
2). Please power Off the head unit
3). Please insert the SD card to the GPS SD SLOT (yes, it should be GPS slot)
4). Please enter Settings----About machine, click System updates
5). The head unit detect the upgrade software, and then click confirm to upgrade it. ( Please choose "Wipe data and format flash!" to update)
Please pay attention on this info: Please do not power off your Android Car DVD Player or your Mazda 3 Navigation and do not take out of SD card during update. It may take 3-4 minutes for update, so please pay more patience on it. And please follow the way to update it strictly.
And after upgrading, enter the factory settings, check if the data are the same as before upgrading. If the data are not the same, please set them to be the same as the ones before upgrading. If you have an Android 2 DIN Car Stereo G2110F or GA2114, or you're Opel owners and have one GA5156F Opel Navi and GA5155F Vauxhall Sat Nav, and also have this issue, you can have a try. :)
