Hyundai has come a long way from the year 1998 since it launched the Santro. The car went on to become the pride of many owners and in fact won the car of the year award subsequently. Since then Hyundai has just served upon some brilliant cars to become the second largest car maker in India. The Hyundai Accent once again accentuated the place of Hyundai in the Indian market just when things seemed to go the Maruti way. Now once again after a gap of 13 years Hyundai has come up with a radical car called as the next level Verna alias the Hyundai Verna Fluidic.

The new Hyundai Verna is nothing like the previous boring Hyundai cars and is a beautiful exception of the company’s not so attractive cars. The car is inspired from the next generation Hyundai RB concept which debuted at the 2010 Moscow International Motor Show and pretty much everything seems to be the same since the concept car was showcased.

The six headed grille combined with up swinging headlamps with L-shaped fog lamps make the car look ready for race and also give it that rich look. The coupe effect is what makes the car stand apart from the rest of the crowd and it has a solid shoulder line taken over from the i20. For the style effect the lines are more angular and flow from the front bumper to the rear tail lamp. The shoulder is well kept in the loop with lines at the bottom of the door making it a car to reckon with. The car has 16 inch alloys wheels which are compulsory for the high end variants and are really wide up to the wheel arches unlike most of its predecessors.

The tall tailgate is once again a sharp reminder of the old built in spoiler like top lip which gives is it that uniqueness in the segment and also made the tail gate look a couple of inches taller. For the Indian market the Verna comes with a twin exhaust tip and is complemented by a sporty design which completely gels well with the bumper. Upon microscopic view the flowing lines are further enhanced by the even shut lines, good panel fit and finish levels as well giving the car a complete premium look. The new Verna has not only gone to the next level but also takes the car notches higher when compared to its predecessors which were stylish but did not have the mettle to stay in the vogue for longer periods of time.

Over all the Verna is not just good looking but also well styled with dignity and equal proportions at the right place. The car is surely to get some points for being one of the best looking C-segment cars in the country and this will surely augur well for the sales of the car.  The spacious interiors offer generous leg, shoulder and head room both front and rear. The Verna competes against the likes of the City and the Vento and it surely feels big and spacious.
