Kansas Auto Parts Salvaging

First a car is manufactured, it is put through the required tests and then advertised for sale in many countries across the globe, not the least of which is the United States of America. This car is then purchased by someone, let us say his name is Anthony. Anthony drives his car for a few months or maybe even a couple of years. One day he's driving home from the market and he approaches the intersection at William Avenue, he looks left and he looks right, the road seems to be clear. He turns unto the road and suddenly as if out of nowhere, a car hits his vehicle on the passenger side. He comes out of his car, he is uninjured, he analysis his vehicle and considers that this may just be an irreparable or much too expensive damage to actually fix. After a few weeks have passed, he and his insurance provider decide  that the car should be written off. The car is then removed by a reputable salvage yard from its momentary home in a nearby garage. The owners of the salvage yard, see that this car has working parts like its engine and transmission which are still in almost brand new condition. They retrieve all the working parts from Anthony's former vehicle and scrap the car for metal. These parts are then sold to Roy, Tracy and Damien who will not only receive working parts, but will also spend far less money than if they had bought these parts new. The scrap metal is then sold to a metal recycler. This metal is then bought by a lading motor vehicle manufacturer who will reuse these metals to make another motor vehicle.

Kansas is not a unique state where auto parts salvaging is concerned. Many auto salvaging yards are currently in operation in Kansas that may be used to store  and purchase parts and scrap metal from unused motor vehicles. Once there is a desire, the internet and even a normal local directory has many listings of operators in this and other states.
