Having finished its 17th season,Mercedes Benz and Top Gear Articles BBC's "Top Gear" is one of the most famous and popular shows on television. It is arguably the most famous and popular car show in the world. With a quarter of a billion viewers around the world, many of us tune in each week to learn about cars and watch their fantastic antics and adventures. The trio of hosts on the show often shares their bias or penchant for particular vehicles. They have been blessed with what some men and women describe as the best job in the world: they get to drive cars for a living. All types of cars, too. They drive vehicles made in every country on the planet from Russian to Japan to England and everywhere in between. Over and over, you will hear at least two of the "Top Gear" hosts mention that Mercedes Benz is by far their favorite vehicle. And why is that?

Most of the time the hosts of "Top Gear" spend their show behind the wheel. And they will tell you over and over again that the vehicles they like the most are the ones that are fun to drive. They are genuine car lovers and love to have fun whenever they get behind a wheel. To that effect, the Mercedes Benz is a fun vehicle to drive. It has a lot of power under the hood and a number of luxurious qualities in the interior. This makes it both fast and comfortable on the road and the racetrack. This car is notorious for small and thoughtful touches that make the driver and passengers enjoy being inside the vehicle and behind the wheel.

The "Top Gear" hosts also love vehicles that are reliable. To this end, the Mercedes Benz is one of the most reliable vehicles made today. Parts and labor are guaranteed, and the company is famous for standing behind its product. Depending on where you live in the world, replacement parts may be notoriously expensive or hard to come by, but this vehicle is common in some of the most remote and poorest countries in the world. For example, Albania has an inordinate number of Mercedes Benz vehicles in their country. Everyone from cab drivers to mafia leaders drive the vehicle as a status symbol of reliability.

In the end, it isn't hard to see why Mercedes is so well loved by car enthusiasts. It is a fun vehicle to drive and it is well built, two ingredients that make for a long-lasting relationship between car and driver.
