Tevo has launched a new racking system for service vehicles – seen for the first time at the recent CV Operator Show. The new,New racking system for service vehicles Articles integrated T-track framework gives dealers and operators a simple to install racking system. The new T-Track framework is made from high tensile strength steel for maximum strength and safety but with minimal weight. In some configurations, when compared to traditional steel racking, up to 30% weight reduction can be achieved. Many of the modules, including drawer units and lockers, are square in section and can be rotated through 360 degrees, allowing flexibility in configuration to suit requirements. Because the racking system modules are modular in height, width and depth – they are suited for many different applications offering a unique variety of configurations. You can rearrange drawers or swap them for different sizes and types before it is installed – or when it is in the vehicle. The new system was tested at Volvo Cars Safety Centre and has been fully approved to European TÜV standards.

Trukrax have been busy developing their high roof Toploader system. Sales Manager Scott Finding stated; “In response to health and safety concerns we started selling the standard side-loading systems several years ago; however we were constantly asked by our customers for a system for high roof vans that did not put the user in the road at the back of the van with their back to traffic, due to this we developed the Toploader system.”

The design and development work was completed early last year, but the launch was held off until the recent CV Operator show. The Toploader system has been designed to enable users to be able to load and unload two sets of ladders off the roof of a high roof van whilst stood on the pavement at the side. The system uses a combination of gas springs and dampers to assist the loading or unloading, defeating the age old problem how to safely load or unload ladders without climbing on to the roof or standing in the road at the rear of the vehicle. Trukrax also used this year’s CV show to launch their range of equipment available for the brand new Mercedes Vito including their side-loading system. These racking systems work in any van, such as Mercedes Vito vans, Fiat Doblo vans and also many other different vans which can be found in your local van dealer garage.
