New Volvo S60 Coming Soon

Although the North American International Auto Show has faced some setbacks recently with many automakers pulling out of the show, Volvo is attempting to build anticipation for its upcoming debut of the Volvo S60 sedan.

The new Volvo S60 sedan is set to launch in 2010 and will offer a new design direction for Volvo, with what it refers to as a “double wave” design. In addition, the S60 appears to have a slopped roofline that makes it look more like a four-door coupe such as the Mercedes CLS rather than a traditional sedan. This four-door coupe design is popular among current European designs according to vehicle exporters and as a result New Hampshire Volvo dealers are eager to have examples of it in their showrooms.

While the exterior is looking pretty good from the teaser photos, the interior also promises to be quite stunning according to Yonkers Volvo dealers. The instrument panel will cascade down the dash and into the backseat.

The updated Volvo S60 has been delayed as the automaker juggled internal priorities. To make matters worseFree Web Content, the automaker suffers the same sales and production issues felt by automakers worldwide which also may have fueled delays. Look for the all-new S60 finally make its debut at the upcoming NAIAS in Detroit in January.
