As drivers we hear all of the reminders to perform regular oil changes so we do it. But, there are other vehicle fluids that are necessary to the health and longevity of our driving experience. The oil change among other fluid exchanges is only a part of the several steps and checks that are critical to vehicle health and longevity. The only difference is that an oil change is recommended every 3,000 miles while the tune up check is recommended every 30,000 miles. But if you know that you require a lot from your automobile on a daily basis or you have an older vehicle and your preparing for a long road trip, a local garage check up would only be beneficial. Much like the regular lubricant exchange, it’s better to know what’s under your hood than to get a surprise.
