This is because most of the time they don't have to, since this maintenance is included in most manufacturer warranties. However, when the warranty runs out, many vehicle owners could be in for a little sticker shock. Oil change coupons can provide discounts, as well as other vehicle maintenance techniques.

A manufacturer's warranty for new vehicles is fairly extensive. A basic warranty includes maintenance for the first three years, or up to 36,000 miles.
