In the 1970s, when radio controlled model cars was in its infancy, the suspensions were still quite far from reality. In the rear, the wheels were in solidarity with the rear axle, two wheel drive. In the front, the knuckle served the same function, i.e. converting the directional model. This can be quite complex, but it is not part of this new rc technology. Evolutions brought a grandiose perspective for everyone.

What is today called a bar front axle was fixed with the U-shaped terminal lying, when this was made adjustable, it was possible to determine the slope (called "caster angle") of the spindles and improve driving conditions of radio control cars models.
