The advantage of disc brake is good braking performance,Remove the Abnormal Sound on Disc Brake Articles flexible manipulation, no need for regularly check and adjust. More and more motorcycle start to use the disc brake. Motorcycle gear and disc brake are important to a motorcycle. But there will be some abnormal sound during the usage of disc brake. When driving the motorcycle, brake pads get friction with the brake disc from time to time and produce raspy and abnormal noise. Then you need to raise the parking holder, press the seat to raise front wheel off the ground and turn the front wheel by hand, you will hear clearly the abnormal noise caused by the friction from motorcycle brake pads and brake disc, what is even worse, you will fell hard to turn the front wheels.According to the working principle of disc brake, when hold the brake handle, brake assemblies will make brake fluid get pressure, and the brake fluid will push brake piston to move?axially, and then brakes and rotors clamp to the brake disc and brake pads will relax pressure on the brake disc, and braking force get released. That is to say, during the normal work of the disc brake, brake pads will not get friction with the brake disc braking force, the piston seal will generate?elastic?deformation. When loosen the brake handle, the pressure of brake fluid will disappear, piston is no longer influenced by brake fluid, piston seal will restore the original shape and make the piston back to the original position by moving axially, the brake disc. The reset of braking piston depend on the elasticity of piston seal. If there is more resistance for the axial movement of the piston, caused by rust or dust of the piston, the elasticity of seal is not powerful enough to make the piston to back to the original position and then brake pads will get friction with brake disc. So, to exclude abnormal sound of the brake, you need to make sure that the piston can do the axial movement flexibly. Firstly, remove the dirt and rust on the surface of the motorcycle sprocket, then, put the lubricate oil there, which can help the piston to move flexibly. The detailed step is as follows. Firstly, remove the disc brake, take out the brake pads, swing the brake handle, let the bearing piston move axially around 5 mm and remove rust and dust on the surface of the piston. Then, put the lubricate oil on the surface of the piston, use a screwdriver to make the piston back to the original position. Repeat these steps for several times and when it is easy to put the piston back, and finally put the disc brake back to normal use.
