CRV was an excellent concept Honda to join back in the 90s. The firs generation was a cracker and won a legion of fans to the fold compact SUV, helped by the Toyota RAV4. Now, these small soft roaders represent a large portion of the sales of new vehicles in America. People love the convenience, style and value, compared with, say a small car.

Gen 'Honda CRV was launched and marked the beginning of the first wheel FWD CRV and the diesel version by mid next year.

The "new" model is actually a "top hat" or new skin in the previous platform with extra benefits and a revised 2.4-liter gasoline engine, along with the "new" 2.0 liter variant FWD.


VALUE

The initial range consists of five models of six-speed manual and five-speed 2WD car low degree: 'VTi and VTi, VTi-L VTI Sy 4WD with the 2.4-liter engine and five-speed automatic only.

The diesel will be a 2.2-liter unit that is already used in Europe and Honda probably going to cost more than the VTi-L.

TECHNOLOGY
