The 3.0 R L.L. Bean model is propelled by a six-cylinder 3.0 liter engine for the generation of 215 lb-ft of torque and 245 horsepower. This engine works with a six speed automatic transmission.

The entry level model of 2012 Subaru Outbackis packed with roof rails, 16 inch tires, air conditioning, a music system with a CD player, keyless entry, satellite radio, and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel. The 2.5i model has roof rail crossbars, 17 inch tires, heated exterior mirrors, and a powered driver seat.

Outback 2.5 L.L. Bean model receives dual zone automatic climate control, a navigation system, and an advanced CD changer. The Outback 2.5i Limited has leather seats and a sunroof with double panels.
