For 2012, Subaru Outback is introduced in wagon body style. It is available in 7 different models- entry level, 2.5i L.L. Bean, 2.5i, 2.5i Limited, XT Limited, 2.5i Limited L.L. Bean, and 3.0 R L.L Bean.

The 2.5i Limited L.L. Bean, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i L.L. Bean, 2.5i, and the entry level models get power from a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, which is rated to deliver 169 pound-feet of torque and 175 horsepower. Both 2.5i and base models are packed with five speed manual transmission, whereas the L.L. Bean and 2.5i Limited trim models work with a five speed automatic transmission.

The XT Limited model is motorized by a turbocharged 2.5 liter engine, which can churn out 241 lb ft of torque and 243 horsepower. The XT Limited model is mated to a five speed manual transmission. The 3.0 R L.L. Bean model is propelled by a six-cylinder 3.0 liter engine for the generation of 215 lb-ft of torque and 245 horsepower. This engine works with a six speed automatic transmission.

Salient Features

The entry level model of 2012 Subaru Outbackis packed with roof rails, 16 inch tires, air conditioning, a music system with a CD player, keyless entry, satellite radio, and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel. The 2.5i model has roof rail crossbars, 17 inch tires, heated exterior mirrors, and a powered driver seat.

Outback 2.5 L.L. Bean model receives dual zone automatic climate control, a navigation system, and an advanced CD changer. The Outback 2.5i Limited has leather seats and a sunroof with double panels. Both 2012 Outback 3.0 R L.L. Bean and XT Limited models get stylish interior trim and red reflective gauges.
